At a Glance

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Special Project Coordinator to join the Cablofil Team in Mascoutah, IL. Provides support to the sales force and VIP customers by managing the quotes, special/large orders and projects, processing returned materials and credits, answering inquiries regarding products, availability and technical questions, resolve freight issues, manage special project requests and process quotations.

What Will You Do?

Provide point of contact for VIP customers for large/ special orders/projects OVER 100 K and manage these accounts. Coordinate all aspects of customer support, including customer communication, performance, auditing, etc., as it pertains to large projects. Schedule bi-weekly conference calls with internal sales team and customers to discuss status of the projects. Manage Export projects for specified customers. Travel as needed for site or customer visits, evaluate customer specific situations and make decisions that will ultimately satisfy our customer. Process orders, quotes and freight analysis, including interpretation of numerous different sales documents and reading of fine print to accurately fulfill customer requests. Approve quotes once reviewed. Continuously follow up with rep firms and distributors related to order changes; product, lead times, shipping methods and dates. Manages and updates the customers' service portals and spreadsheets with current order status and shipments. Process project quotes using electronic quotation system. Provide all important information: contractors, reps, engineers, end users, quote amount, distributor, job name etc. and provide monthly forecasting to scheduling and production and coordinate weekly meetings to discuss open projects. Analyze and process a bill of material from customer or contractor information, a specification, blueprint or drawing. Cross part numbers from competitor's parts to Cablofil. Answer technical questions for customers regarding product line, bill of materials, certifications and load/ fill capacity. Research and approve debits, ship and debits, and customer extras for accounting department. Answer inquiries regarding product, pricing, and availability and technical inquiries regarding product line. Process Return Material Authorization and customer credits. Gather information to set up new customers. Resolve freight issues and track shipments. Process reports; tracking report, hold report, open order report and back order report Performs all activities in accordance with applicable procedures and work instructions. Performs other similar and related duties as required. All Cablofil employees are expected to act with honesty, integrity, and responsibility in all relationships. Develop proficiency with navigation in EZ Project to review and print quotations. Process EZ Project quotes and provide all important information: contractors, reps, engineers, end users, quote amount, distributor, job name etc.

Qualifications

Required Skills

Education: Bachelor's degree in business or related field or minimum 7 years equivalent experience is preferred

Experience: Minimum 5 years Customer Service experience in manufacturing environment.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, organize and accomplish a diversified work load. Able to evaluate situations, identify options and implement effective solutions quickly and efficiently.

Requires strong organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities.

Requires close attention to detail, ability to audit work to identify issues and implement processes to prevent errors.

Exceptional computer skills, extensive knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and data base software, proficiency with various e-mails, calendaring, meeting management and related communications software. ERP and CRM software experience strongly preferred.

Must be highly collaborative and able to work in a team-based environment. Must be able to handle all types of personalities and relate to people at all levels of the organization. Represents respective executive staff in a highly professional manner.

Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Able to provide clear and concise information and create effective reports, presentations and business correspondence.

Thorough knowledge of the company, its history, products, and market position is essential. Must have solid business acumen and understanding of a variety of functional areas within the business.
