CT Technologist - Capleo Global : Job Details

Title: CT TechnologistLocation: Brooklyn, NY Shift: Day, 12pm -7pm Flexible Duties: Utilize appropriate kV and mA techniques for quality diagnostic CT images. Perform daily quality control calibration checks on all equipment. Inject patients with radioactive material as per physician's orders. Observe documentation policies by completing logs, manuals, and charge documents. Perform quality control, quality assurance, and safety tests; follow ALARA radiation safety guidelines. Maintain and retrieve patient films and electronic data for Radiologist interpretation. Order patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses 1-day prior to use. Receive and verify radiopharmaceutical deliveries and activity levels.Skills:Perform CT procedures according to prescribed protocols to ensure uniformity and accuracy. Exercise appropriate judgment to assess and respond to patient needs before, during, and after visits.Education:Requirements include licensing with NYS in Radiologic Technologist, ARRT certification in Radiography and CT, and BLS certification. At least 1 year of CT experience; Graduate of Radiologic Technologist program.Required: New York State License (L.R.T) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and current CT certification
