CT Technologist - Rutland Regional Medical Center : Job Details

COMPETITIVE SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS* $4.25 - 2nd Shift* $8.00 - 3rd Shift* $4.75 - WeekendUnder the supervision of a radiologist, and direction of the Lead CT Tech, this position competently performs imaging on a multi-detector CT scanner. Responsible for scanning and imaging protocols. Must have the ability to recognize cross-sectional anatomy, performs CTA's and inject contrast media where applicable. Responsible for providing service excellence and complying with hospital policies and procedures. Uses the RIS/PACS and HIS for proper recording of patient exams and dissemination of patient results.Minimum Education* High School Graduate or equivalent* Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology programMinimum Work Experience* Recent, up to one year, hospital related experience* Digital Imaging and post processing PACS experienceRequired Licenses/Certifications* Must possess current Vt. state RT license* BLS Certification through American Heart Association* Must obtain 24 ECE credits, in a two year period, for re-certification and licensure* CT certified by ARRT or obtaining (must obtain within one year of employment)Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities* Knowledge and ability to provide care based on physical and psychosocial development and safety issues related to patients of all age groups, including infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric.* Demonstrated moderate knowledge of basic computer skills.*Pay Range = $30.18 - $44.61#PM24PIdeeae7a272d7-37395-#######9
