Pride Health is hiring a CT Technologist to support our client's medical facility in New York, NY. This is a contract opportunity with the potential for extension or conversion—a fantastic chance to join a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Summary

• Role: CT Technologist
• Location: New York, NY, 10016
• Contract Duration: 14 weeks
• Schedule:
• 5x8-hour shifts per week (40 hours total).
• Shift options:
• Tuesday–Thursday (1:00 AM–9:00 AM).
• Sunday–Thursday (1:00 AM–9:00 AM).
• May include weekend shifts, such as doubles (1:00 AM–9:00 AM and 9:00 AM–5:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Prepare and position patients for scans, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, following safety protocols and quality standards.
• Administer contrast agents and monitor for allergic reactions.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure accurate documentation.
• Provide clear instructions and support to patients throughout the procedure.
• Adhere to safety regulations, including radiation safety and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to deliver optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year as a CT Technologist.
• Certifications:
• ARRT certification in computed tomography (CT).
• Valid NYSDOH license (radiologic technologist, nuclear medicine technologist, or radiation therapy).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred).

Pay Highlights

• Weekly Gross Range: $2,900–$3,000/weekly, DOE.
