Established on original foundations the taverns exemplify the liveliness of the the era and serve cuisine based on historic recipes by leading culinarians and cook book authors of the period. Our founding fathers visited Williamsburg frequently, and not unlike us today lodge and dined at there favorite locations. Christians Campbells Tavern is known to be the favorite place of George Washington, who especially enjoyed the seafood dishes offered by Mrs. Campbell.Externs with a culinary focus prepare seafood and poultry entrees, cook meats, broil steaks and seafood, and assemble entrees; maintain sanitation of station.
