• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of custodial staff.
• Ensure cleanliness of restrooms, lounges, waiting rooms, lobbies, offices, conference rooms, and more.
• Oversee sanitization of high-touch surfaces and adherence to Green Cleaning standards.
• Manage inventory and replenishment of cleaning supplies.
• Train and mentor custodial staff, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Monitor and report maintenance or repair needs for prompt resolution.

Qualifications You Need to Succeed:Experience:

• Required:
  • 3-5 years of janitorial or custodial experience, including 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven experience managing services in facilities of 290,973+ square feet or similar complexity.
• Preferred:
  • Previous supervisory experience in janitorial or custodial work.

Knowledge:

• Expertise in cleaning and disinfection techniques, including equipment and chemicals.
• Understanding of infection control and Green Cleaning standards.

Skills and Attributes:

• Attention to Detail: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Physical Fitness: Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and frequent bending or standing.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and English proficiency (speaking, reading, writing).
• Listening Skills: Follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols effectively.
• Flexibility: Availability for evening work to meet operational needs.
• Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and dependability.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent (additional certification in custodial management is a plus).

Additional Requirements:

• Administrative: Valid driver's license.
• Background Checks: Clean criminal record and successful completion of a federal background check.
• Fingerprinting: Completion of fingerprinting as part of the hiring process.
