CUSTODIAL WORKER 1 - 2nd Shift - OHIO University : Job Details

Under general direction of a lead worker or supervision by departmental administrator or Building Services Manager, performs duties to provide care, cleaning & maintenance of building, furniture & fixtures. Adheres to all OSHA, CDC and/or Ohio University required safety guidelines; Sweeps, mops, strips, waxes, polishes and renews floor surfaces; Cleans and shampoos rugs and carpets; Washes walls; cleans, dusts and waxes furniture and fixtures following either Level 1 or Level 2 clean/sanitize/disinfect guidelines as directed - - - ; Cleans glass and mirrors; Cleans and empties trash receptacles; May remove and hang drapes; Removes snow and ice from walkways and entrance areas; Reports need for equipment repair; Reports evidence of fire, illegal entry and theft of property; Checks in supplies; stocks supply areas; May assist in washing and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, pots & pans; Cleans and sanitizes bathroom fixtures & drinking fountains; Operates dish machine/pot washer to...Custodial Worker, 2nd Shift, Custodial, Worker, Equipment Repair, Property Management, Education
