- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of professional cleaning experience in a casino, hotel, warehouse, or similar environment.
- Ability to train on and operate specialized equipment such as the cardboard baler, riding shampooer, and street sweeper.
- Ability to obtain certification in Aerial Work Platform Operation and Safety.
- Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers Permit.
- Pass NRWC pre-employment testing.
- Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License.
Preferred skills:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, squat and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely perform job duties at heights of up to 30 feet.
- Ability to stand and/or move around continuously during the assigned shift.
- Ability to tolerate a noisy, smoke-filled environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Knowledge of Hospitality Industry Guest Service Standards.
- General cleaning of bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, emptying garbage, cleaning working areas, mopping, and shampooing, polishing, cleaning ashtrays, and cleaning glass.
- Deep cleaning of areas needing additional attention including floor treatments, high dusting, window cleaning, and pressure washing.
- Accessing sensitive or Class III areas to complete cleaning duties.
- Operate equipment such as the cardboard baler, riding shampooer, and street sweeper safely and effectively.
- Report to Custodial Shift Lead regarding any issues or problems that arise on assigned shift.
- Provide training to new Custodial Workers, fostering a positive culture and work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
