Custodial Worker - Nystrom & Associates : Job Details

The custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of a building and the surrounding grounds. Their duties include vacuuming floors, sanitizing restroom facilities and collecting trash to ensure the buildings occupants have a clean space. Job Duties: Sweep, mop and vacuum floors Refill restroom dispensers Respond to client needs and requests. Check, restock and maintain supply closets. Work outside to remove snow, ice and debris from entrances, steps and sidewalks using various tools and products. Complete and document daily routine responsibilities on the unit Cleans, dusts, and waxes furniture and fixtures. Maintains a clean and orderly supply closet. Cleans walls, inside of windows and other glass surfaces, partitions and doors in facilities using various cleaning solutions, wash towels, sponges and other cleaning products. Operates vacuum cleaners and shampoo equipment and solvents to vacuum and chemically clean carpeted areas in office areas of facilities.
