Position Details:Summary of Duties:Under general supervision, perform custodial tasks/duties to maintain cleanliness and care of area assigned. Lead and/or supervise (i.e. instruct/train/assist) assigned Custodians to meet departmental cleaning standards. Assist Supervisor as needed. Position may interview and recommend selection of applicants, conduct training, assign and schedule work, act upon leave requests, provide input on annual performance evaluations and recommend corrective or disciplinary action. Hours 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm Monday - Friday
Required Qualifications:- Physical ability to do required work and one year experience in housekeeping, janitorial, general or building maintenance, or custodial work OR one year experience as a Lead; OR equivalent education/experience.
- Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver's license and meet requirements in accordance with SPPM 7.10 and departmental driving standards.
Preferred Qualifications:- Minimum of 6 months experience leading or directing the work of others.
- Experience with Housing and Dining Services.
- One year of custodial experience in an educational or commercial setting.
