Custodian Full Time - City of New Berlin Wisconsin : Job Details

Provides routine indoor and outdoor custodial maintenance services for various assigned municipal buildings and grounds. Examples of Essential Duties Performs general custodial maintenance of municipal buildings including wall, ceiling, and window washing, upholstery cleaning, dusting, and painting. Cleans and maintains floors including carpeting, tile, and concrete. Cleans restrooms. Removes trash and recyclables. Maintains and replenishes cleaning and related supplies and equipment. Assists maintenance supervisor and maintenance technician as needed. Moves furniture and sets up meeting rooms. Performs minor plumbing tasks as required. Removes snow and salts walkways. Replaces light bulbs when needed. Performs other duties as necessary to maintain a properly presentable facility. Minimum Qualifications Requires a high school diploma or GED.
