Housekeeping Team MemberDenver Health and Fitness is a Premier Fitness Club with 2 locations inDenver, NC. We are looking for an individual who has a positive attitude, tremendous work ethic, and love being part of a team. We want to add to our amazing customer service and sales team. Housekeeping Team Members are vital members of the gym staff team, ensuring that the facility is free of equipment issues, clean and meets the expectations of our members. Housekeeping Team Members will be responsible for any combination of cleaning duties on the gym floor, locker rooms and offices, ongoing equipment maintenance and repair, as well as general building maintenance. These Team Members work under the direction of the General Manager and Front Desk Manager.VARIOUS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Vacuuming, mopping, dust mopping, sweeping and using floor scrubber, empty waste containers, low and high cleaning
  • Perform restroom cleaning, restroom checks, clean water fountains, clean fitness centers, showers and locker rooms
  • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures, clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors at prescribed heights
  • Clean walls, machines, and equipment
  • Clean blow off turf and basketball court
  • Vacuum carpets, strip, seal, finish, and polish floors on occasions only
  • Ability to learn how to use Floor Scrubber.
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners
  • Assist in Special Events setups
  • Monitor building for maintenance/safety/security issues and report any violations to immediate Supervisor or Management
  • Maintains custodial equipment in a clean, safe operable condition
  • Report shortage of supplies and equipment failures to immediate Supervisor or Management
  • Performs break fix on building, equipment and other various items as needed.
  • Report all Facility Maintenance issues to the Supervisor.
  • Adhere to authorized dress code
  • Performs other related work as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Attention to detail
  • Maintains a professional atmosphere at all times.
  • Must be trustworthy and have a dependable character.
  • 6 months experience preferred
  • Obtain First Aid and CPR certification
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work at either location (DHF1 or DHF2)
