DescriptionCleans, maintains, and secures classrooms, offices, restrooms, halls, stairs, and public areas in Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS)-owned buildings, as assigned.QualificationsRequired

• Any combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to completion of the sixth grade.
• May be required to work an evening and/or night shift on a regular or rotating basis.
• Knowledge of custodial methods, equipment, procedures, and cleaning materials.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to learn the appropriate use of cleaning products.
• Ability to recognize and report hazards and apply safe work methods.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
