Custodian - Diocese of Jefferson City : Job Details

We have a full-time position open for a custodian to clean St. Peter's school and Selinger Hospitality Center. This individual will be expected to take direction from the supervisor and complete tasks independently. Typical routine tasks consist of:* Maintaining safe, clear and clean entryways, inside and outside of school* Maintain safe, clear and clean hallway floors and walls at school* Clean and sanitize all areas of school* Clean windows and glass doors daily* Clean, sanitize and setup Selinger Hospitality Center as needed based on events calendar* Respond to immediate campus custodial needs such as bathroom accidents and illness or injuryEmployer offers a competitive hourly wage and comprehensive benefits that include life insurance, long-term disability, medical, dental, vision and a matching 403(b) retirement plan.Requirements* General knowledge of safe cleaning practices * Able to climb ladder to change light bulbs* Able to mop and use other floor cleaning and buffing equipment* Ability to use household tools for mechanical repairs; unclogging sinks and repair of toilets* Ability to lift, push or pull up to 90 pounds* Respect the parish heritage, the Catholic faith and traditions
