This position has little or no contact with the general public and has no supervisory responsibilities. It must abide by all safety rules and regulations.Examples of Work Performed Maintains the facility clean and safe for the staff assigned to the building.Maintains the facility clean and safe for all visitors and vendors entering the building.Maintains restrooms clean and disinfected and replenishes supplies accordingly.Sweeps and mops facility daily.Maintains buildings and grounds free of safety hazards and litter.Gathers and disposes of trash and waste.Assist other personnel whenever necessary.Must attend all training deemed necessary by Executive Director to comply with the Child Care Regulation Division Minimum Standards, and Performance Standards.Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or Executive Director.Education and ExperienceMust have a high school diploma or its equivalent. Some experience in custodial work is preferred but not required. Must have sufficient knowledge of maintenance and custodial duties to perform work as assigned. Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish). Must have an automobile and current liability insurance for work related travel.
