What Youll Do: As a Custodian, youll play a key role in keeping the YMCAs facilities clean, safe, and functional. Your responsibilities will include routine cleaning, seasonal tasks such as snow removal, and helping maintain a welcoming space for members. Your work will support the YMCAs mission to promote community well-being and safety.

Key duties include:

• Performing regular cleaning tasks like mopping, dusting, and removing trash
• Maintaining the grounds (snow removal, lawn care)
• Providing basic maintenance for equipment and cleaning the pool area
• Assisting with event and meeting setup
• Reporting and addressing repair needs
• Restocking supplies (e.g., soap, paper towels)
• Adhering to safety standards and YMCA policies

What Were Looking For:

• At least 6 months of experience in custodial, janitorial, or maintenance work is preferred
• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safety protocols
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
