DescriptionPurpose As a custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within a designated facilities or buildings. Your primary duties will include performing cleaning tasks, ensuring sanitation standards are met, and contributing to the overall upkeep and safety of the premises. Core Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. •Perform regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors and surfaces. •Sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure they are maintained in a hygienic condition. •Collect and dispose of trash, recyclables, and hazardous materials in designated containers while adhering to safety protocols and waste disposal guidelines. •Report maintenance issues, damages, or malfunctions of equipment, fixtures, or facilities to the appropriate personnel for timely resolution. •Assist in minor maintenance tasks as required. •Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe environment for occupants. •Monitor premises for security concerns and report any suspicious activities. •Maintain inventory and ensure an adequate supply of cleaning materials and equipment. Qualifications:
- Minimum Age of 21 per Florida OMMU Regulations.
- Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Check per Florida OMMU Regulations
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proven experience in janitorial, environmental services or custodial work preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and adhering to safety standards.
- Driver's License preferred.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, this employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands or feet, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This position is part time 3 days a week, weekends may be required.
