Located in Richlands, Virginia, SWCC offers associate's degrees in such fields as business, education, general studies, liberal arts and science. These degrees are primarily intended for students who wish to transfer to a four-year university. SWCC also has associate's degrees that feature programs intended to lead directly to a career in fields such as Nursing, Radiography and Administration of Justice. We're looking to add team members to our custodial staff. These individuals help keep the College looking great by being responsible for general housekeeping and custodial duties. These duties include maintaining acceptable daily sanitation standards in any given area which meets local, state, and federal requirements. Specific responsibilities include mopping, vacuuming, dusting and buffing floors, trash removal, cleaning restrooms and windows, and stripping and refinishing floors. Also, responsible for the care and handling of housekeeping equipment, supplies, and assigned keys. Training provided.Special Assignments

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

KSA's/Required QualificationsExcellent customer service and communication skills. Basic computer skills required. Ability to follow instructions Ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to safely and efficiently operate electrically powered and manual cleaning equipment.
