Brandeis University is looking for a Head Custodian in the Facilities Administration. ESSENTIAL & OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:Clean, strip, polish building surfaces as directed. Read, understand and carry out simple instructions in English. Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with supervisors, fellow workers, department heads and other members of the campus community. Follow simple oral instructions in English. Work in an environment subject to frequently changing priorities and from individuals and time deadlines. Bend, stoop, lift and move furniture, shovel snow and remove trash weighing 30 pounds. Work either independently or in a project team setting. Organize responsibilities and tasks. Receive and ship packages, luggage and supplies.
