Position Type: Maintenance/Custodial/CustodianDate Posted: 10/21/2024Location: Bermudian Springs School DistrictCustodian Position - 4 hours per day, 5 days per week - Monday - Friday School term hours - 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. for 252 days (can be flexible with start time) Summer hours - 6:30 am-10:30 a.m. Job Description: - Person will be responsible for tasks throughout the District - The person must be able to perform repetitive motions including standing, walking, and bending for up to 4 hours per day - Person possesses good communication and time management skills - The person should be self-motivated and task-oriented and work well with team concepts - Duties include but are not limited to heavy-duty cleaning, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and disinfecting restrooms, supply facilities, dusting, windows, and other duties described in our district cleaning procedure handbook - The person should be able to mix cleaning solutions in preparation for cleaning according to instructions - Gather trash and recyclables - Experience is great but not necessary, we will train - We pair our new team members with experienced teams to train and introduce them to our style of cleaningCandidate must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. 252 days @ 4 hours a day Salary Range: Based on skills and experience, with a starting wage of $15.80 day shift.
