Work hours to be determined by site. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
  • Sweeps, mops, scrubs, dusts and vacuums hallways, classrooms, bathrooms, lunchrooms and office space daily or as assigned. Follows checklist created by supervisor for site assigned.
  • Empties trash and garbage containers in all classrooms, bathrooms, lunchrooms, cubicles and offices daily. Removes trash to dumpster areas.
  • Cleans all conference rooms and training areas including tables and sinks as directed, and filling soap, towel, and spot cleaning windows, walls and doors as needed.
  • Cleans bathrooms including sinks, mirrors, and toilets daily; fills toilet paper dispensers and hand towel dispensers, and doorknobs daily.
  • Cleans and straightens waiting room and main entrance daily.
  • Secures facility at end of shift by pulling all doors from outside of building.
  • Notifies supervisor of need for repairs and any safety or health related concerns.
  • Maintains an adequate supply of cleaning materials through reporting inventory needs to Data Analyst/Programmer and Facilities Supervisor.
  • Ensures that cleaning equipment is maintained and reports problems to supervisor.
  • Ensures that entry ways – inside and out are free from debris and clean.
  • During winter months, remove snow from sidewalks and parking lots at all facility sites and salt walkway and through parking lots. (flexible hours when needed for this duty).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
