CUSTODIAN SENIOR SERVICES - City of Clovis New Mexico : Job Details

Position involves manual work in the performance of maintenance and custodial tasks in public buildings. Involves responsibility for cleaning, building operations, and minor maintenance, work performed in accordance with established routines with specific instructions provided on non-routine tasks. Typical Duties Will be responsible for the maintenance of center. Hours of work provided at each center will be at the discretion of the Senior Services Director. Sweeps, mops and polishes floors using hand tools and power equipment. Keeps sidewalks free of snow as necessary. Washes walls, windows and woodwork. Cleans restrooms and replenishes supplies. Answers center telephone providing information or directing calls as appropriate. Sets up chairs and tables and rearranges furniture in preparation for meetings or other special events to be held. Assists in replenishing supplies for activities. Will be required to assist with special events sponsored by the Department.
