Must be willing to work weekends.Full-time schedule: 8 hours on Saturday, 8 hours on Sunday, and three 8 hour weekday shifts.Daily work hours: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.Duration: Permanent Full-Time PositionThis position provides general cleaning and custodial care and support for assigned campus buildings, facilities, structures and adjacent areas, including, but not limited to, student residences, offices, locker rooms, patios, entryways and walkways, and workshops. Custodial staff may work independently or as part of a custodial team. Weekend work required.Department Summary University Housing, a unit within the Division of Student Affairs, consists of Facilities Operations, Housing Administration, Custodial Operations, Diversity and Inclusion, and Residential Student Experience. University Housing provides a premier living and learning experience for over 8800 students in residence hall and apartment-style communities. - Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the duties of the position.
- Follow verbal and written instructions to ensure safety.
- Operate and care for custodial equipment and supplies applicable to the position.
- Ability to clearly relay information, both written and verbal, for maintenance, custodial or health and safety repairs or concerns.
- Ability to maintain high quality/standards of work, ethics, commitment, and professional responsibility.
