Job Description:

The Customer Advocate Supervisor will lead a team of customer service professionals, ensuring efficient processing of customer orders and inquiries. This role requires a hands-on approach to solving customer issues, collaborating with internal departments, and supporting customer advocates by providing guidance and coaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a team of 3-4 customer service professionals
  • Oversee the distribution and processing of customer orders and communications
  • Monitor customer interactions to ensure timely and effective responses
  • Act as a liaison between internal departments to streamline processes and solve problems
  • Assist in testing software systems impacting customer service operations
  • Participate in special projects as assigned
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment
  • Provide back-up support for Customer Advocates, including handling escalated customer issues

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience
  • 4-7 years of customer service experience (not in a call center)
  • Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of EDI processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows Applications; JD Edwards System knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to motivate and influence team members, with a focus on continuous improvement

Additional Details:

  • Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite for training, followed by 2 days onsite (Tuesday and Wednesday)
  • Flexible hours (7 AM - 4 PM or 8 AM - 5 PM)
