Job Description :
The Department Clerk performs Customer Care / Customer Service and a variety of clerical work including word processing, accounting and record keeping assignments under general supervision. Follows established departmental processes to accomplish job duties. Operates a computer to update accounts, collect data and produce reports.This position requires candidates with excellent customer service skills, attention to details, phone skills and highly flexible shift availability. Our Private Jet Center (FBO) is a 24-hour operation. Shift: Full-Time/Weekend shift typically from; Friday 10am to 6pm, Sat. & Sun. 6am to 2pm, and Monday 10am to 6pm, and 1 weekday swing shift 2pm to 10pm . Ideal candidate also has availability to fill-in as needed. Could promote to Full-Time position. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Covers front desk in Flight Based Operations (FBO), our Private Jet Center to assist private jet owners.
  • Provides customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Maintains reports and performs varied clerical and word processing duties which require knowledge of the department, the facility and the company along with their policies, practices and procedures.
  • Follows defined administrative processes within functional department.
  • Maintains an appropriate filing system to retrieve needed materials quickly.
  • Brings any unusual or difficult cases to supervisor's attention.
  • Possesses a thorough knowledge of the department and Company's policies and procedures.
  • Performs such individual assignments as supervisors and superiors may direct.
  • Ensures that adequate and continuous controls are exercised over all assigned activities affecting quality.
  • All other duties as assigned.

QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Must have 3+ months related customer care / customer service experience and/or training.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Constant ly : sitting, dexterity including fine finger usage (keyboard, pinch) . Vision with / without correction; near 20 .
  • Frequent ly : Lifting 10 lbs., standing, walking, climbing stairs, balancing , basic vision depth perception . B ending, twisting of torso, wrist flexion and extension, and working alone.
  • Occasional ly : Lifting 50 lbs., push/pull < 2 0 lbs., stooping, squatting, and kneeling on knees. Working above chest-level , overhead, and /or away from body. T wisting and/or pressure with wrist/hands, basic color vision (shapes / colors) , environmental weather conditions , work in wet conditions , working with ladders , scaffolding, standing/walking on uneven surfaces.
