Job Description:

Are you energized by transformative work where you can push boundaries and challenge the status quo? Are you a passionate individual who thrives on the challenge of exceeding customer expectations? We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Customer Care Representative to join our Business Operations team at Ascent Tubular. As Customer Care Representative, you will be the central force in prioritizing the need of our customers and providing solutions to delight customers. Your responsibilities will focus on order management, resolving customer issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Principle Duties:

  • Order Management
  • Set promise dates aligned with raw material arrival, facility schedules, and customer needs
  • Handle routine and non-routine customer order follow up activities (changes in customer requested dates, changes in production schedule, escalation of customer issues, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Business Operations Planning team to meet customer needs while supporting Operational optimization of manufacturing plant
  • Ability to multi-task with critical thinking skills
  • Meet the demand of customer requirements through appropriate sense of urgency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify pain points in the customer journey and implement solutions to streamline processes, reduce friction, and exceed customer expectations.
  • Implement robust escalation procedures needed to address complex issues and deliver optimal outcomes for customers
  • Requires ability to work in both manufacturing and office environments.

Other Duties:

  • Order Entry
  • Utilize the ERP system to place customer orders accurately and timely.

Required Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects at a time.
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset, comfortable challenging the status quo.
  • Proficiency in ERP software, with the ability to leverage technology to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Ensure personal compliance with all company Safety regulations and guidelines, Quality System, Operational, and Human Resource policies, procedures, and practices, including housekeeping procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

2-year degree in Business, Marketing, or related field of study.
