The Job/What You'll Do:

The Customer Obsession Specialist is an exciting opportunity for candidates who are looking to put their creativity, communication skills, analytical skills, and customer focus into helping create fun and energizing programs for our associates so that they can wow our customers. The ideal candidate is passionate about people and interested in learning how to create emotional connection and superior customer engagement. The goal of the Customer Obsession team is to ensure that we are building an even stronger following of loyal promoters among the financial advisors who use our platform. Customer obsession means we are highly capable and serve in a way that is personalized, emotionally connected, and beyond advisors' expectations on top of our foundation of being fast, reliable and efficient.

Candidates for this position should have an exceptional customer focus, excellent written and verbal communication skills, a service-oriented mindset, and strong project organization skills. The ability to work collaboratively, creatively and with a sense of fun is essential to drive results and help to reinforce customer obsession throughout the Operations and Service teams, as well as the entire company.

We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to our Concord, CA office.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute projects/initiatives that support or deliver improved emotional connection and loyalty among advisors (e.g. improve specialized customer contacts-like problem resolution, web-visible notes, or relationship transitions-or initiatives that enable our firm to personalize and connect more effectively with advisors)
  • Gain customer-focused work experience in the financial services field by working within an innovative, fast-growing firm
  • Learn best practices for driving loyalty in a business-to-business wealth management platform
  • Gain work experience in gathering requirements and defining business solutions
  • Gain insights into how to successfully collaborate within a cross-functional and dynamic organization
  • Assist Customer Obsession, First-Year Success and Contact Quality teams with ongoing projects and initiatives supporting customer engagement, onboarding and satisfaction
  • Assist with event planning and execution
  • Provide general administrative support to the team as directed
  • Consolidate research and data into cohesive summary of findings and recommendations
  • Help to create enthusiasm for Customer Obsession programs

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Clear and engaging communication style--verbal, written, interpersonal, influencing
  • Intermediate-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience in shaping research and data into coherent and persuasive presentation materials
  • High energy! Ability to be fun and inject a sense of humor into projects and assignments
  • A positive attitude with good organizational, presentation, and writing skills.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field

Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $35,000-$40,000.

This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
