Job Title: Customer Relations Coordinator, Pro Baseball

Reports to: Customer Relations Manager, Pro Baseball
FLSA Status: Exempt
General Overview: Provides customer service to Major and Minor League teams and players, Player Agent's and Rawlings Pro Field Reps.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Takes, edits, and keys sales orders for assigned teams, and as backup for coworkers as needed. Follows through and expedites all orders from start to finish. (ie Baseballs, Helmets, Helmet Decals, Bases, Base Jewels and Anchors).
* Takes, edits and keys sales orders from player agents and players. Follows through and expedites all orders from start to finish and provide a paid credit card receipt when applicable.
* Assists Equipment Mangers, Agents, Players, & Coaches with merchandise requests, questions, etc.
* Coordinate, process, and track all contractual and non-contractual orders placed by assigned Major League and Minor League Baseball teams.
* Creates and maintains custom artwork through the Docuware program.
* Coordinates with Supply Chain/Planning and the Adirondack, Costa Rica, and Washington facilities regarding the status of product and orders.
* Assists the Supply Chain/Planning Department to help develop a yearly forecast for Baseballs and Helmets.
* Troubleshoots miscellaneous orders, uses independent judgement regularly to create solutions to problems that arise on a regular basis.
* Processes own credits and return authorizations.
* Performs shipping of products including gloves, catalogs, lacing, etc.
Assigned duties may also include:
* Assists with other department-related duties as assigned.
* Assists with Major and Minor League custom bat orders. Processes orders and monitors delivery. Updates daily bat reports.
* Travel yearly to the MLB Baseball Winter Meetings
* Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
* College Degree or equivalent level of applicable work experience in a customer service role.
* 2 - 3 years prior customer service experience in fast-paced environment strongly preferred.
* High level of professionalism and positive people-interface skills.
* Prior experience working with Major/Minor baseball teams a plus.
* Excellent alpha and numeric data entry skills relative to speed and accuracy.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office software, experience with JD Edwards/E1 systems strongly preferred.
* Prior experience with Docuware and Incorta preferred.
* Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.
* Well organized with proven ability to meet deadlines and multi-task
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
* Strong attention to detail.
Working Conditions: General office working conditions. Limited travel required.
