PositionPlaces outbound calls to sell replacement parts and handles incoming service calls, parts requests, sales order entry, warranty claims and return goods from customers by performing the following duties.Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound phone calls to convert leads into sales.
  • Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices, credit terms, and prepares sales orders, in a timely manner.
  • Works with the team to maintain customer accounts and assures product literature is current.
  • Participates in bids, pricing and proposals generated by the business units.
  • Obtain cost-effective freight rates for quotes and bidding process.
  • Data entry of sales orders
  • Monitors the production schedule, communicating with the engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and service departments to ensure customer requirements and on-time delivery are met.
  • Tracks inventory levels to quote accurate lead-times to customers.
  • Process credit card related tasks for sales orders
  • Maintain warranty log to keep track of warranty orders and costs.
  • Email and fax price quotes and part manuals to customers.
  • Prepare commercial and pro-form invoices for foreign customers.
  • Call vendors for part pricing availability and write up purchase requests.
  • Complete Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA) and Return Goods Authorizations (RGA) for customer part related issues.
Qualifications
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
