**As a result of a secondment within Council, an opportunity has arisen within the Library and Visitor Information for a part-time (fixed-term) Customer Service Officer.**

The successful candidate will have exceptional customer service skills and be able to undertake general administrative tasks associated with AA vehicle licensing, library services, visitor information and programme delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with our residents but also provides the opportunity to promote our District to our visitors.

We are looking for an energetic, engaging and enthusiastic team player with a hands-on, common-sense approach.

This is a part-time position which will be 20 hours per week in accordance with the roster system between Monday - Saturday. The fixed-term contract will be until 1 July 2022.

This position requires the right candidate to have a caring and professional nature to provide our library users with an enjoyable experience while also demonstrating a vast knowledge of our District, and region, to promote and advise visitors.

The preferred candidate will have demonstrated experience in administration and the ability to build positive relationships. Knowledge of Local Government, the services provided by the Stratford District Council and AA Experience would be an advantage.
