Telework Availability: We trust our employees to be self-motivated and successful in hybrid/remote roles; NC Department of Health and Human Services offers work from home options and variable work schedule flexibility for this position.
The Division of Health Benefits requires temporary workers with an approved hybrid telework schedule to work onsite at their assigned duty station at least 8 working days per month. More information on this arrangement may be obtained at the time of the interview.
Hourly Rate: $15.50 to $19.00
(Hourly Rates are based on education, experience, equity, and budget)
Position Overview:
This position is based in the Medicaid Contact Center on the Customer Service Oversight team. This position is responsible for effectively monitoring, assessing, and reporting internal and external calls allowing leadership to make pertinent operational decisions.
Job Specific Responsibilities:
* Monitor internal and external calls for expected metrics, targets, and time measurement goals
* Process high volume of call monitoring within the firmly set schedule and guidelines
* Communicate effectively via telephone, online meetings and written correspondence to complete quality assurance forms
* Complete quality assurance reports
* Provide reviews to leadership
* Observe and review data analytics, track call trends, and share information for improvement or accomplishment
* Complete special projects as assigned.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to compose clear error free summaries and correspondence
* Previous work experience in a call center including quality assurance/oversight
* Proven ability using office equipment such as a computer, scanner, printer, and fax
* Previous experience adhering to call center metrics
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
* Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Management Preferences:
* Bilingual (preferably Spanish and English)
* Previous experience using NCFAST and NCTRACKS
* Familiarity with medical terms or medical insurance
* Knowledge of Medicaid and healthcare industry process and procedures
* Experience with Management Information Systems such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, etc.

High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and one year of administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
