The Service Representative is responsible for interacting with customers who want to withdraw or deposit money in their credit union account. The duties include following CFCU policies to ensure ethical business practices, greeting customers and helping them with their needs and speaking with customers about new products and other offerings. Examples of Duties Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receives checks, money, debit, and credit payments from customers
- Solves any issue that pertain to the transactions.
- Answers all accounts and credit union related inquiries.
- Assists in generation of reports for the monthly CFCU Board Meetings and the CFCU Annual Meeting
- Follows credit union procedures to count and manage all the funds received from customers.
- Builds and maintains customer relations by providing high-quality services.
- Reconciles all transactions at the end-of-the-day.
- Keeps customer's information confidential.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Typical Qualifications Minimum Position Requirements (including certifications, licenses, etc.):
- Associate degree or higher in business or related field, which relates to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Two (2) years of experience working at a financial institution.
- Experience with bookkeeping software.
- Knowledge of financial terms, practices, and laws.
- Proven customer support experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
