  • Utilize OAAS and CONDUENT databases to research, track, and update applicant files
  • Provide prompt, professional customer service to ensure that all necessary information is covered and gathered from requestors/recipients in a clear, consistent and professional manner
  • Handle TTD/TTY (telecommunications for the deaf) assistance calls
  • Request remail appropriate letters to Long Term Personal Care Services and Home and Community Based Waiver applicants/recipient, on as-needed basis
  • Ensure that identified problems are promptly addressed, documented and resolved in a timely manner and calls routed to the appropriate units
  • Complete monthly telephone monitoring
  • Participate in ongoing CONDUENT and departmental trainings
  • Responsible for inbound/outbound call regarding file status, general questions, and file updates
  • Participate in departmental “team effort” functions and projects
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management staff

Educational, Training, and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years customer service or call center experience
  • Experience in social and/or human services, preferably working with the elderly and disabled adult populations
  • Knowledge of healthcare preferred
  • Knowledge of Medicaid preferred

Specialized Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Extremely detailed oriented
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines
  • Excellent, proven skills in:
    • Computer software applications, i.e., word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and email applications
    • Written, verbal, and presentation interpersonal communications
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Remain flexible and composed under pressure

    Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated pay for this role is $15.00 per hour.
