This position will be providing support and services to our customers, internal and external. Answer incoming customer calls relating to order requests, order inquiries, product problems, billing issues, and general communications. Handle all customer related issues including processing orders, coordinate all activities involved in getting orders shipped, handle customer complaints and work to satisfactorily resolve them. Develop a strong knowledge of product lines and customer service and corporate policies. Through training, must achieve an acceptable level of knowledge on products manufactured and product lines offered to customers and industries served. Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with customers and working to establish a positive rapport with every caller. Provide support to internal management team as necessary. Must build rapport and be able to work professional with all levels of management. Responsible for the accuracy of all customer related information and other reports and documents processed. Cross-train in other areas to include but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable and purchasing functions. Responsible for staying updated on company communications documented in Yammer. Must understand and follow process flow for all areas of the business being supported. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE A two or four year degree is preferred but not necessary. Experience in dealing with customers and problem solving is necessary. Individual must have experience with computers, including comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience with other office equipment such as: copier, typewriter, fax, mail machine and software. Ability to type at a speed with high level of accuracy. COMMUNICATION SKILLS Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be able to work in a group and be able to communicate effectively with a cross section of people. OTHER SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS Must have a positive “can do” attitude. Must be a detailed oriented individual Must be able to handle multiple tasks at once with the ability to access priorities. Must be receptive to and be able to work with and handle change. Must be self-motivated, and have strong reasoning and problem -solving abilities. Must be willing to work overtime as necessary Must be open and always looking for better ways to serve our customers, work well in a team, make contributions to the team and the organization.
