Job Type Full-time Description Carolina Precision Technologies (CPT) is seeking a Customer Service Representative to oversee all aspects of sales for Carolina Precision Technologies. As a Customer Service Representative within our team the right candidate must have working knowledge of manufacturing especially in a machine shop environment. The candidate will also be responsible for overseeing the continuous improvement of the sales and marketing process and executing long term customer relationships. We are looking for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, likes to be challenged, and values the opportunity to make a difference. Principal Responsibilities: •New customer sales outreach supporting new business development. •Managing new and existing customer relationships. •Point of contact for all Mooresville Customers. •Review all Purchase Orders to verify Part Rev, Price, Delivery, Ship-to and FAI Requirements. •Enters PO's and notifies Production of any expedited deliveries. •Overseeing the preparation of customer quotations, maintains log for Quote Tracker. •Work with customer portals to extract shipment information. •Create Packing Slips with Material and Process Certs. •Works with Production Team to determine Priorities and meeting Customer needs. •Completes analysis of monthly sales reports. •Maintains customer profiles and activity files. •Conducts sales calls to customers in person, via phone, or web-meeting. •Maintains Customer due dates and adjusts Planning Schedule as needed. •Provide customers with service parts information as needed. •Work with customers and sales organization to expand existing business relationships. •Prepares presentations and attends industry trade shows. •Filing claims with customers for special charges (i.e., obsolescence, air freight, overtime costs, etc.). •Complete Sales Data Procedures for new orders. •Maintain QMS documents and procedures compliance for Sales department. •Work with Sales Organization to develop potential new customers. •Additional tasks as assigned by management. Basic Requirements: •Bachelor's degree or equivalent in experience or related training •3+ years in a manufacturing environment •Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite •Knowledge of Infor Visual a plus •Experience with Medical and Aerospace Industries a plus.
