Customer Service Representative - Beacon Hill : Job Details

A manufacturing company located in Schaumburg is looking for a temporary-to-hire Customer Service Representative to add to their growing team. They are seeking an exceptional customer experience emphasizing core values of teamwork, integrity, and accountability.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assist customers by answering questions about our products and recommend new products by identifying their needs
• Enter customer orders and perform necessary tasks to ensure timely and accurate processing
• Maintain customer relationships by responding to inquiries promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken documented in our CRM program
• Gather and research information as needed to resolve customer issues
• Communicate with customers via Live Chat to provide real time help

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Empathy and strong listening skills
• Familiarity with MS Office: Email, Excel, Word, or similar systems
• 2+ years of customer service experience: desire to help external and internal customers resolve challenges, and take ownership in resolving those challenges
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent attendance
