We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team. Our customer service department connects us to our customers and distributor networks across the country – it's a team based, dynamic and service oriented – department.

The purpose of this position is to interact with customers, sales reps and distributors by managing accounts, processing orders, and answering product-related questions, resulting in high customer satisfaction and effective, collaborative relationships with other company departments, including shipping, production, quality assurance, sales, and accounting.

Minimum Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Associate's degree preferred.

Minimum Experience: 2-3 years' experience in customer relations or service, in a technical or scientific work environment required; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Benefits available the first of the month after 30 days of employment. $1000 sign-on bonus paid after 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customers with information about products, services, and order-related inquiries.
  • Resolve issues by performing activities such as returns, exchanges, and issuing credit memos with proper approvals and by following proper procedures.
  • Process incoming purchase orders and other related items for assigned accounts.
  • Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.
  • Provide pricing quotations for stock, made-to-order, and custom products.
  • Providing sales leads to sales representatives and/or distributors.
  • Answer phone calls and manage email inbox.
  • Maintain documentation of customer interactions, including details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.
  • Uphold and improve quality standards by performing corrective and preventative actions related to job responsibilities.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
