SUMMARY Helps customers with questions, provides information about products and services, takes orders and processes returns. Research and rectify problems for customers, brokers and Sales group. Assist potential new customers with company and product information and send and gather required account set up documents. Research and resolve order item/shipment issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Work as a team with co-workers to input a large volume of orders into computer system while maintaining deadlines to ensure on time shipment.

Communicates with customers and brokers on a daily basis.

Assist Sales personnel for processing orders for customers.

Reads and translates purchase orders.

Inputs information into computer system for both US Domestic as well as Canadian orders. Complete order fulfillment reports for Canadian customers when necessary.

Ensure PO and system pricing is accurate.

Research and locate inventory (warehouses) to best fulfill customer orders.

Authorize and/or capture credit card purchases through Card Pointe encrypted system.

Research, locate and ship Candy Fixture parts for customers requesting replacements.

File claims and issue traces for loss and damages to product. (prepares packages for claim to be filed with carrier)

Perform departmental projects such as new product allocation for specific groups of customers for priority shipping. Perform mass changes in M3 to help correct system issues.

Participate in organized departmental project for product recalls when necessary.

Must possess a great deal of patience as a natural trait.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. An equivalency of education could possibly fulfill formal degree requirements.

LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Ability to clearly communicate with customers, brokers, sales personnel and co-workers in a clear, professional, friendly manner. Ability to control stress and keep a positive attitude.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

COMPUTER SKILLS To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
