Summary
The Giorgi Companies, Inc. (“TGCI”) is a diversified consumer products company with approximately 2,500 employees. Can Corporation of America (CCA), a subsidiary of TGCI and a leader in the manufacturing of 3-piece food cans is seeking a highly motivated hands-on individual who will play a major role in driving business retention & development initiatives. This role must successfully build strong relationships across all lines of business and functional departments within CCA as well as with strategic customers.
Responsibilities
- Responds to customer inquiries/information needs and provides positive, courteous service to customers, answers questions regarding current and future needs, prices, delivery times, warranty periods, customer service and credit/financial arrangements.
- Responsible for entering the day to day sales orders as well as coordinating production and transportation needs with team member.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, working with plant personnel, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management.
- Maintain customer records, pricing, orders, and reports in SAP.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with customers and key accounts, industry influencers, and key partners.
- Support Management with sales activities and special projects.
- Travel approximately 5% of the time with minimal overnight travel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field (preferred)
- 3+ years in customer service
- Strong communication skills: oral, written, presentation and interpersonal.
- Able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Results driven, able to focus on organizational growth and performance.
- Proficient computer skills to include all Microsoft Products.
- SAP experience a plus.
