Job Description :

TDK Corporation of America is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our growing team at the corporate headquarters, located in Lincolnshire, IL.

The ideal candidate loves talking to people and proactively solving issues. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining customer accounts. Coordinate between the customer, vendors, and sales to ensure proper delivery to customer. Responsibilities include but are not limited to customer demand processing, record keeping of purchase orders and MRA processing.

*This position will be Hybrid

Main Responsibilities:

  • Correspondence Reading - Read correspondence from both internal and external sources.
  • Delivery Follow-up - Monitor and/or report company fill rate performance to delivery schedules.
  • Order Monitoring - Monitor and verify the status of customer orders.
  • Order Reporting - Prepare and/or deliver orders coverage, shipments, invoicing and other reports related to order processing.
  • Vendor Scheduling - Arrange scheduling for vendors' production facility in order to meet delivery requirements.
  • Customer Relationships - Maintain customer relationships by interfacing with customer staff (engineering, purchasing, etc.)
  • Order Processing - Process/fill orders and/or verify pricing and terms.
  • Inventory Planning - Plan and document future inventory needs, policies and procedures. Plan levels of inventory required and ensure that replenishment techniques are executed properly.
  • Customer Inquiries - Respond to customer or potential customer requests for information and/or problem solving.
  • Non-Moving Inventory - Identify non-moving inventory items and arrange for disposal.

Qualifications

  • At least 1+ years of Customer Service experience working with large orders.
  • Experience with supply chain/logistics, order management and inventory levels.
  • Must be at an intermediate level working in Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
  • Experience with SAP.
