Specific responsibilities include:
- Receive customer orders by telephone, fax, and other electronic means and enter data
- Discuss delivery times, issues and handle customer concerns
- Create sales order numbers for orders and communicate with customers.
- Communicate and distribute orders to production and plant management
- Create shipping papers for loads
- Contact and dispatch drivers for shipments posting time in and out for each shipment
- Keeping log on drop trailers & shipments
- Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
Requirements:
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Excellent data entry skills a must
- Possesses a sense of urgency and takes ownership of assigned projects.
- Proficient in English with excellent verbal communication and written skills
- High school education required; Associate Degree Preferred
- Two years customer service experience
- SAP Experience
