NDP's Customer Service Department is seeking a qualified individual. The primary roles and responsibilities for CS are to:
- Provide support to external customers including order entry/advice and status tracking
- Serve as a customer liaison to manage production and delivery scheduling, problem solving, customer claims and satisfaction assessments
- Serve as a customer liaison to assist GTS with facilitating shipments and documentation domestically and internationally as needed
- Gather and disseminate customer and market information. The responsibility includes working with NDP's Sales and CS team to match customer needs with mill capabilities.
- Periodically visit customers to develop and maintain good working relationships.
- Participate in team-based system that focuses on identifying and implementing improvement opportunities to maintain leadership in the Liquid Packaging Board industry.
- Comply with all training and personal development plans

These roles are periodically renewed to continually develop the skills of the Customer Service Department and to provide the highest level of service to our customers.As the business and team needs change, and as the skills and knowledge of the successful customer service representative grows, it is anticipated and expected that the current job responsibilities and focus would shift.As a member of NDP, be willing to step out and be a part of the mill team to support needs outside Customer Service, which allows opportunity to understand mill capabilities better. Primary responsibilities for the current openings will be determined based on skills of the selected candidates and existing team members. Requirements for CST and the Current Opening:

- Generally, be available to work within the hours of 7:30 and 4:00. Must be willing to flex to meet business and customer needs.
DESIRABLE:
- Two or more years of manufacturing experience and knowledge of mill operations including ensuring completion of orders and production scheduling
- Paper mill experience and knowledge of mill operations
- Knowledge of managing inventories and deliveries
- Experience in logistics and transportation including truck, rail, intermodal and breakbulk applications
- Experience in export shipments and documentation requirements, regarding INCO Terms
- Strong experience and ability to create spreadsheets
- Strong familiarity and experience with System 2000 and PTS/PPS or similar sales order processing and roll tracking software
- Flexible/adapts easily to change
