Precision Air Inc. is looking for a Full Time Customer Service Representative, at their location in Florence, SC. The successful candidate will greet and interact with our customers and visitors in a cordial, welcoming and helpful manner to provide them with a positive experience. Our goal is to ensure our customers will entrust Precision Air with the ability to provide first-class customer service; they will then return to Precision Air for future business.The Customer Service Representative will have constant interaction with passengers, flight crews, flight instructors and their students, work crews. Must be comfortable interacting face-to-face, on the telephone, two-way radios, as well as the Unicom radio. Able to multi-task, with excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities. Capable of working independently and as a part of our team.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet customers upon entrance into our FBO cordially, in a professional manner.
- Be familiar with our base customers. These are aircraft owners who lease a hangar from Precision Air.
- Answer phone calls in a friendly, positive, timely manner. Direct calls to proper staff, if necessary.
- Provide assistance and recommendations for customer service requests (hotel reservations, rental cars and other ground transportation arrangements such as taxi or limo service, catering requests, and directions to their local destination, if requested).
- Follow up on rental car reservations, make sure car is delivered and positioned for aircraft arrival.
- Assist flight crews with making copies, scanning and emailing documents, getting their passengers ready for departure (coffee and bagged ice, on request).
- Communicate fuel amounts, fueling instructions, and line service requests to line technicians using our two-way radios. Line service includes GPU, lav, assistance with luggage, providing umbrellas if raining.
- Invoice customers for purchases, using Total FBO. Email customer invoices if necessary.
- Maintain and update daily fuel sheets with aircraft information, fuel amounts, and services provided; process their payments using Total FBO.
- Perform basic typing; be familiar with creating and updating spreadsheets and other Word documents.
- Be vigilant with our security regulations, walk-through gate and drive-through gate. If someone requests access to drive-through gate, make sure it is legitimate. If you see something suspicious, immediately report to FBO line chief and manager.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion for sensitive information.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a high school graduate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Must have a clean and valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision. Always strives to do the best job possible.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- 2 plus years of customer service experience preferred.
