Customer Service Specialist Location: Fort Washington, PA Duration: 4 month contract, potential for extension Pay Rate: 22-23/hr Job Description:
- Respond to client inquiries via email/chat regarding new and renewal processes.
- Act as advisor to the client utilizing program rules and underwriting guidelines.
- Responsible for creating financial transactions to debit / credit policy accounts depending on the nature of the request.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly including coverage questions and assisting with new business/renewal inquiries.
- Strong writing and reading comprehension skills are required as all our requests are handled via email.
- Handle payments, endorsements, coverage changes and cancellation of Individual insurance policies.
- Maintain and update client records, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
- Ensure all operations comply with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies.
- Assist in the reporting of insurance claims, providing support to clients throughout the claims process.
- Prepare and review insurance documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Work closely with East partners, Call Center team, Accounting Operations, and other team members to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Valid P&C Producer License in the state of Pennsylvania required.
- 2-3 years of experience in commercial insurance operations or a related field.
