Customer Service Representative - NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing : Job Details

Position Summary

Serve as a source of information to the global university community and coordinate the daily operations of shipping and receiving related matters to and from NYU Abu Dhabi. Prioritize office activities, train, and monitor the work of student employees. May act as team leader to junior clerical support staff. Oversee the processing of courier and freight forwarder shipments. Initiate and respond to inquiries concerning shipping procedures, rates, University and US Postal regulations, deadlines, campus deliveries, and pickups. Perform research, investigate, and request additional information to resolve inquiries.

Qualifications

Required Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Experience:

3+ years of office experience. Experience providing a high level of customer service.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Proficiency with intermediate to advance word processing, spreadsheet and database applications. Moderate to fast, accurate keyboarding. Good proofreading and writing skills. NYS Driver License required. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $37.900. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
