Position Specific Summary The Customer Service Representative position at the City of Tucson's Department of Transportation and Mobility is responsible for handling customer interactions, addressing inquiries, concerns and providing support, along with maintaining records within the Park Tucson Division Work is performed under the supervision of the Management Assistant. This position does not supervise.
Duties and Responsibilities - Addresses customer service inquiries for parking services by answering phones, engaging with constituents, gathering pertinent information and initiating follow-up with constituents to ensure customers can track their requests accordingly. Resolves disputes and issues related to parking fines, lost tickets, or other service-related problems.
- Sets up garages and surface lot access utilizing systems for City of Tucson and Pima County employees including the public. Activates and resets access cards for all city-owned garages, issues residential permits, non-residential permits, and handles renewals accordingly. Activates monthly permits for contracted companies for surface lots.
- Assists with validating tickets or passes and processing refunds if applicable.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
Working Conditions Mostly office environment. All duties and responsibilities listed are subject to change.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education : High School diploma or GED Experience: One (1) year of directly related experience Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of Customer service experience. Skills in communication, both oral and written. Experience with Microsoft Product, including Outlook. Experience handling financial information.
