This Customer Service Specialist will be tasked with delivering exceptional, hands-on support to customers, collaborating closely with the operations team to ensure a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Job Title: Customer Service Specialist Job Type: Full-time/Direct Hire/In-person Pay: $55,000 - $65,000, depending upon experience Hours: In order to provide customers service excellence across a nationwide customer base, this position requires flexibility to accommodate the schedule of your choice below:

  • Sunday through Thursday, 12pm - 8:30pm
  • Tuesday through Saturday, 12pm - 8:30pm

Essential duties for this Customer Service Specialist will include:

  • Receive, log and verify customer requests, promptly acknowledging requests via phone, confirming details, and following up for any additional info necessary.
  • Verify credentials and gather all info required to kick off the quoting process.
  • Collaborate directly with the operations team to ensure accurate quote creation, delivery and follow-up.
  • Track all quotes in the system, document outcomes, including reasons for lost quotes.
  • Manage the customer onboarding process, ensuring all forms are collected, verified, and approved before creating customer profiles in the system.
  • Facilitate the introduction of Key Account Managers to vetted customers, and document the process.

The Customer Service Specialist we're looking for will possess the following background profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or relevant field is REQUIRED
  • 2-4 years of prior experience in a professional customer service role, preferably within a logistics or operations office environment
  • Tech savvy with intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office and CRM/Salesforce
  • Meticulous data entry abilities, along with strong organization skills including attention to detail and follow through
  • Exceptional communication skills are a must as you will be interacting with internal and external customers!
