Customer Service Specialist

Pride Health is hiring a Customer Service Specialist for one of its clients in California.

This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of temp to hire with competitive pay and benefits.

Location – Costa Mesa, California– 92626

Pay range - $20 - $23 per hour. (Based on relevant experience)

Length of assignment – 6 months contract. (Possibility of temp to hire)

Shift – Monday to Friday 8:30 am-5:05 pm; 100% onsite.

Job Summary

The Customer Service Specialist serves our patients, members, and providers.

Job Duties

• Responsible for answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments.
• Triage phone calls as necessary. May conduct patient/member pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care.
• With the assistance of data and technology, they function as liaisons and ensure high-value and personalized experiences.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One (1) – three (3) years of customer service experience.
• Must have 2+ years' experience with radiology diagnostic testing scheduling experience – e.g. mammogram, DEXA, X-ray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine.
• Must have Health insurance verification knowledge.
• PREFERRED: - Epic EMR experience.
