Our client, a fashion group in Manhattan, is hiring a Customer Service Specialist/Office Assistant.

About the Role:

This position will be on site 5x per week. The Customer Service Specialist/Office Assistant position is a supportive role to the Sales and Production departments through effective communication and the streamlining of operations. This position will be responsible for supporting customer inquiries, ensuring customer satisfaction, providing customer support, and effective communication with clients daily.

Responsibilities:

  • Sending tracking information and follow up after items are shipped out
  • Logging, tracking, and following up with repairs and special requests sent in by customers and sales representatives
  • Issuing credit memos for returned and invoiced items
  • Processing and transferring salesperson lines from HQ to shows and events
  • Processing and transferring product and promotional materials needed for permanent salesperson line as well as items requested by sales representatives to customers
  • Generating invoices delivered from sales line
  • Taking general sales and memo orders with customers via phone and email
  • Giving customers estimates on anything that doesn't have to be made
  • Relaying relevant customer requests and information from HQ to sales
  • Generating, distributing, and processing orders given by salesperson and customers through phone inquiry
  • Tracking, logging, and invoicing memo programs for customers
  • Following up with the customers and sales reps for memo retrieval and billing purposes on a monthly and as needed basis
  • Following up with production about special orders, repairs, coordinating orders, seeing if items are ready, etc
  • Relaying messages in between production members
  • Verifying inventory matches PO's
  • Filing invoices and memorandums accordingly
  • Organizing product as it is received to the office
  • Maintaining the level of supplies needed for supporting marketing and production roles as needed
  • Receiving, logging, and distributing packages to employees daily
  • Answering phone calls and emails for general customer product inquiry
  • Greeting visitors

Pay range and compensation package:

45-50K annual compensation + benefits
