About the Role The purpose of this job is to be a part of a team of agronomic experts that will proactively contact agronomy customers and prospects, provide agronomic knowledge, with a primary focus on service and support both internally across Landus and externally with customers and prospects. This role will be executed through the alignment and coordination with the SAM (Strategic Account Manager), the Director of Sales, and Hub personnel. What will you do? •Promote a sales, service, and support culture with all employees across Landus.•Assist in the management of customer offers, pricing, proposals, work orders, precision technology, and bookings.•Assist Strategic Account Managers and other Landus teammates through service and support, sharing of knowledge, best practices, and experiences. •Support S.A.M's, Locations, and the Credit Department by monitoring and evaluating accounts receivable risks on current and potential customers to minimize the company's account receivable risk exposure. •Use speed and agility in adopting new technology, to utilize data and provide solutions to the farmer that will drive value back to the farm, assist with capturing farmer data for current and future programs.•Make sound agronomic recommendations to customers by presenting solutions, products, services, technical knowledge and new concepts and innovation to maximize returns for the customers. •Maintain and increase agronomy market share through strong customer relationships, retain existing customers and grow business with new prospective customers.•Collaborate with Landus Grain teammates to share customer information and identify potential prospects across grain and agronomy. •Participate in outbound call programs to current and prospective customers providing agronomic expertise, market information, and sales of crop inputs and services. •Support leaning into the future of agriculture by promoting and being an advocate for new technology, data, and working with farmers to increase supply chain visibility to drive value back to the farm.•Collaborate with procurement, management, Hub and location to monitor projected agronomy sales to effectively manage inventory needs. •Work with customers, suppliers, and management to resolve product/service complaints fairly and equitably. •Participate in marketing, sales, and other types of training, and share information with others.•Establish and maintain record keeping systems and continually update information for accurate and timely retrieval related to Landus agronomy sales and services to customers. •Provide a consistent communication channel between Landus customers and location personnel to set proper service expectation levels, resolve problems and scheduling issues. •Collaborate across Business Units, Hubs, locations and departments to share ideas, best practices, programs, and identify additional opportunities to work as One Landus to become efficient, maximize opportunities and create growth for our farmer and company. •Participate in local agricultural organizations such as producer associations, agronomic technical training, sales training, and other types of training applicable to the role. •Exercise strong interpersonal skills to communicate with farmer-owners, teammates, leadership, and partners.•Define challenges, collaborate with team members, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.•Become a champion of safety compliance throughout the organization. •Other duties as assigned.Requirements•Valid state motor vehicle operator's license.•Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.•CCA certified or ability to obtain is recommended
